I personally would have used a bit of oil (Mostly because I love the smell of cutting oil Haha!), but watching this.... it is pretty obvious that oil was not needed.

There isn't enough metal to metal contact time for oil to even be necessary.

@Perplexer1 Sorry, I only know the german words ^^The "Schlossmutter" is locked to the "Zugspindel", which lockes the tool to the rotation of the ... you know, the thing whrer the workpiece is mounted on.
